The move
How long does the migration take?
What transfers to Pic-Time?
Your migration brings over the core elements of your galleries and account:
- Galleries and images
- Gallery links
- Client data and contacts
- Remaining Pass subscription time
- Scene names and order
- Download & access permissions
- Gallery grid settings
- Watermark settings
details
Burned and flexible watermarks transfer. If you're merging into an existing Pic‑Time account, your gallery's watermark settings are preserved, but your existing Pic‑Time watermark is used. - Blogs, slideshows, videos & clips
- Email templates
- Vendor contacts
- Custom products
details
Custom products transfer, but need to be assigned to a new Price List before they can be used in your Store.
What doesn't transfer?
- Order history
- Price lists
- Marketing Automations
details
Automations need to be recreated in Pic‑Time — they're set up the same way as on Pass, with a wider selection to choose from. - Existing coupon codes
details
Coupons need to be recreated in Pic‑Time — including coupons created for individual clients or used in a Marketing Automation.
- Gallery templates
- Integrations
- Album proofing
- Gallery design
details
Images, scenes, scene order, and grid settings are preserved. Covers use Pic‑Time's Classic Look & Feel theme; cover colors are preserved when manually selected or picked from a photo.
Will my clients' gallery links still work?
What happens to my Pass Store and Marketing Automations?
They can't transfer automatically, but both are quick to rebuild:
- Store — recreate yours in a few minutes with Pic‑Time's guided setup wizard. Pic‑Time is integrated with over 30 labs worldwide, including labs and products you already use on Pass.
- Marketing Automations — set up the same way as on Pass, with a wider selection of automations and refreshed template designs.
Money & plans
What will migration cost me?
eligibility
A small number of accounts may be asked to make an annual commitment to Pic‑Time to be eligible. Your specific offer is available inside your account during the eligibility period. What pricing will I have at Pic-Time?
I'm on a monthly plan — will it keep renewing?
I'm on a yearly plan — what happens?
What about my remaining Pass Store profits, and when do they arrive?
Payouts are released in batches rather than instantly, so allow up to 5 business days after your migration for the funds to appear. Please make sure the PayPal address on your account is current: if PayPal cannot deliver to it, the payment is held and then returned.
If nothing has arrived after 5 business days, contact support and we will trace it.

The bigger picture
Why is migration only available to Pic-Time?
Pass has been powered by Pic‑Time's technology for nearly a decade. That makes a truly automatic migration possible — galleries, account data, and live links — and it means the platform will feel familiar from day one. Pic‑Time also agreed to honor remaining Pass subscription time and built this migration process specifically for Pass photographers.
While Pass and Pic‑Time have established this partnership for the benefit of photographers on Pass, they are and remain separate companies. This migration offer is not an acquisition or merger.
How is Pic-Time different from Pass?
I don't plan to migrate. What are my options?
If you'd like to keep your galleries, please download them before October 31, 2026.
To stop billing, cancel your subscription under Settings, Plans & Billing. If you have remaining time on your subscription beyond October 31, 2026, reach out to help@passgallery.com.
Be sure to request a final cashout of your eligible profit balance when you migrate.
What happens if I do nothing?
- Your galleries stop being accessible to clients after October 31, 2026.
- Renewal charges continue until your subscription auto-cancels December 31, 2026.
- All remaining data is permanently deleted December 31, 2026.
We strongly recommend beginning your migration before October 31.
